Styrofoam Green Guide Rating of A

Dow have proudly announced that the BRE have confirmed a Green Guide Rating of A for their Styrofam LB-A product. Styrofoam’s unique high strength in compression, tension, bending and shear is now matched with the environmental credentials to make it the ideal core insulation in composite panels. Architects can now confidently specify Styrofoam LB-A as the product has zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential), a low GWP (Global Warming Potential) and is 100% recyclable . At FOAMtech any Styrofoam waste created from our manufacturing process is not put into land-fill. We have invested in machinery to allow us to offer any waste to recycling companies thereby minimising any negative impact on our environment.
